Group 1 Presentation

As Americans we find ourselves now in a slippery situation. We love our indulgences however, we dont want to pay the price which means more money out of pocket for us. Simply shocking that in this day and age child labor is a problem rampant in many place on the globe. Companies such as Walmart outsource their labor to achieve maximum profits attainable while exploiting workers abroad and  hurting employment here in America. Manufacturing jobs likewise have gone ashore. Paying workers at least minimum wage would mean that companies would have to provide healthcare and some type of pension plan (401k). By going abroad many people were left unemployed throughout much of the rustbelt and their low skilled jobs which payed decently enough to support a family were shipped overseas at a fraction of the price. Back to the main point, we want but we dont want to pay. Until countries start caring about their workers and Americans demand that jobs return, this will continue as it has since the 1980's. Work will be abroud except for the service industry
